In this work, regulation of nanoparticle cellular uptake is achieved via the helical conformation and orientation of the anchoring polypeptides. Our results found that the helical polypeptide anchoring its C-terminus to the surface of the nanoparticles gave rise to significantly higher cellular internalization than all other control groups.
