Welcome Prof. Kuo-Wei Huang Visit Our Group

On the morning of November 24th, Prof. Kuo-Wei Huang from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia visited the School of Chemistry at Peking University for academic report. The visit was at the invitation of Prof. Yan Xu, during which Prof. Huang, led by Prof. Zhang, toured the laboratories and took a group photo with the lab members.

Prof. Kuo-Wei Huang earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University in the United States in 2004. He is currently a faculty member at the Catalysis Center and Homogeneous Catalysis Laboratory of the Physical Sciences and Engineering School at KAUST. His main research areas include computer simulations and dynamics studies based on transition metal and organic catalysis, small molecule activation, functional materials and their applications, hydrogen production and storage (water splitting and formic acid dehydrogenation), and asymmetric catalysis for amino acid and drug intermediate synthesis.
